Twenty years later, a teen called Monkey D. Luffy is on a quest to become the next Pirate King. To do this, he needs to enter the Grand Line, a place where Gol D. Roger hid his huge treasure.
Few people who have entered it ever came out alive.
On the way, he meets people who he persuades to become part of his crew; from a sake loving swordsman, money hungry navigator, chain smoking, trash talking chef and a stuttering liar/sniper to a doctor who was born a reindeer, a woman wanted by the government since she was eight and a man who turned himself into a cyborg.
And so the adventures start for Luffy and his crew...
